Watersiders Protest At Living Costs
Lyttelton watersiders on Thursday passed a resolution condemning price increases. The secretary (Mr R. K. Fergus) said the meeting also registered the strongest protest at the “fantastic increases envisaged for Parliamentarians.”
£lOO Bequest—A bequest of £lOO to St. Luke’s Anglican Church is made in the will of Blanche Ada McCoy, a spinster, of Christchurch, who died on August 20. The Supreme Court recently granted probate of the will, the estate being sworn at under £5400.
