Driving Ban Till 98
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 9. The “Daily Mirror” reported yesterday that Mr John Wells, of Moorhill road, Woodbridge, Suffolk, was banned from driving yesterday till he is 98. Stowmarket, Suffolk, Magistrates also fined him £lO for careless driving. Mr Wells collided with another car on a bend. Told of the verdict a few hours later, Mr Wells said he would be “very pleased” with himself if he lived that long. He is now 96.
