AUSTRALIAN VISIT
Report About Duke (N Z. Press Assn. —Copyright/ SYDNEY, Oct 9. The Duke of Edinburgh would probably visit Australia late next year, the Sydney “Sun” said in a Canberra dispatch. The “Sun” quoted reliable sources as saying no definite arrangements had been made, but they were confident the Duke would visit briefly. Canberra sources said the Duke was eager to make the visit the “Sun” said. If the Duke did visit Australia it would be a brief informai tour and include only one or two States. Official circles discounted suggestions that Prince Charles would accompany the Duke, the “Sun” said.
