Irregular Trend At End Of Week’s Trading
Trading on New Zealand stock exchanges closed the week on an irregular note with both New Zealand and overseas stocks slightly easier. Key stocks in both sections followed the same trend. Charles Begg belatedly followed other television stocks with a Is rise to 275, but profit-taking caused Bell to ease 3d to 38s. Farrier-Waimak rose Is 6d to 21s 6d in last cum dividend sales, while Wilson Malt gained another 2s 6d to 32s 6. National Mortgage A and B shares came into line at 14s.
