Brooklands Wins Bowls
The Armstrong, Farr Trophy has been won for the third time in five years by the Brooklands Indoor Bowls Club. The trophy is played for annually between the Brooklands, Belfast and Waimak clubs. Results: Brooklands, 2 rinks, 4 pairs, 5 singles: Belfast, 1 rink, 1 pair, 5 singles; Waimak, 1 pair, 2 singles. Aggregate points: Brooklands 96, Belfast 83, Waimak 56. The winning Brooklands teams were: J. E. Boone (skip), E. Tebay, S. Boone, Z. McDowell, M.' Johnston, C. Duffield, L. M. Dowell, P. Duffield.
