Sales Winners To Visit U.S.
An international sales contest conducted by the Singer Sewing Machine Company was won by New Zealand. The successful contestants —Mr A. M. Wall, general manager; Mr J. Biggs, Canterbury supervisor; Mr R. Varley, Invercargill manager: and Mr J. Warren, Christchurch sales representative, accompanied by their wives—have left for a threeweek visit to the company’s headquarters in the United States where they will study merchandising and selling techniques.
