Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 4. ■A fire in a hay barn on the Mount Wellington highway this afternoon brought a full-scale police search into operation when it was reported that children were seen playing near the barn. Firemen went into the fire with breathing apparatus, but they could find no trace of the children. Later, all the children were accounted for. About 1000 bales of hay, valued at £250, were ■ destroyed.
