ONE MAN’S CAMPAIGN
One of the Labour candidates In the local body elections on Saturday, Mr R. 11. Stillwell, spent his day exhorting electors to vote.
He fitted his car with a loudspeaker and drove around the city and suburbs urging: “Vote today for the Drainage Board and Transport Board.” Most of his pleas fell on deaf ears. Both boards had light polls.
