Timaru, Aramoana Figures Until September 30, 50,563 ■acks of potatoes had been shipped from Timaru to North Island ports, compared with 135.704 at the same time last year. During September, 18.748 sacks were shipped. Auckland has received the bulk of the Timaru potatoes, a total of 40,956 sacks. Wellington has taken 1199, Na-pier-Gisborne, 4354 and the West Coast of the North Island, 4054. The Aramoana figures for the four weeks ended August 15. show that a total of 2716 tons (approximately 40,740 sacks), were shipped to the North Island in that period. For the same period last year, the Aramoana had carried 6685.4 tons, or approximately 100,281 sacks.
