AMERICAN STUD STOCK SALES

Mr J. V. Evans To Attend At the end of next week the New Zealand stud stock manager for Daigety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd., (Mr J. V. Evans) will leave for the United Steles and Canada, where he will attend stud cattle sales and judge some Aberdeen Angus cattle during a visit of between 10 days and a fortnight. In New York state he will attend the Institute of Black Watch Farms sale, which will be held on the property of Wappinger Falls. The sale is the annual one of bulls and females. Three Perth champions are standing at the stud on this property.

During the sale, a half share in a famous bull will be offered. Mr Evans said yesterday that those connected with the sale were expecting a record price. Mr Evans will also attend the Meadow Lane Aberdeen Angus sale and the Louada Manor Shorthorn sale in Canada. This latter stud is one of the leading Shorthorn studs in America. He will also visit herds in Chicago and Denver. On his journey, Mr Evans will be accompanied by Mr K. N. Allen, an Aberdeen Angus breeder and a past-president of the Romney Marsh Sheep Society.
