Wage Order

Sir,—Will “Well Satisfied" tell me his secret of how to save and bank' money out of my pension? I am a widower, living alone, and pay £27 a year in rates, electric power and coal bill some 25s a week—roughly £2 a week. If he and his wife can bank £75 a year 1 should be able to save half that amount as 1 have only one pension, £5 a week. I would also ask “Well Satisfied” how many years he has been banking £75 a year. Like many more old-age pensioners, I could do with a new suit and boots, underlinen, etc., but none of us can wave a magic Wand.— Yours, etc., A.E.M. September 29, 1964.
