Missing Boy Walked Out

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 28. A 17-year-old Naenae youth, who became separated from a party of boy scouts in the Orongorongos yesterday afternoon, was met on the Five Mile track about 9.45 this morning by his father as the lad came out of the bush. The boy, Warren Brown, yesterday took part in a handicap race organised by the Eastern Hutt Combined Venturer Group and apparently got behind and became lost. His companions searched for him late yesterday afternoon and then organised an experienced search party which entered the bush late last night. The search continued at dawn today. Mr Brown, while awaiting news, went for a walk up the Five Mile track. He met his son coming out of the bush. The boy was fit and well.
