Hibbs Scores 230 Points
The former South Island Rugby League representative utility back, C. A. Hibbs (Marist), scored 230 points during the West Coast seaison which concluded on Sunday.
,| His 13 points in the [Thacker Shield match against [Hornby took his club total Ito 178. He scored 27 points for West Coast, 16 for Police | Rugby teams, and nine in the i Town-Country match on Sunday. His brother, R. Hibbs, I scored more than 100 points [for the Marist (Greymouth) [Senior reserve team. [ The only other West Coast I century was scored by A. J. [Tibbles (Ngahere). His total [of 126 included 101 for Ngahere, 16 for West Coast, and I nine for Country.
