The former South Island Rugby League representative utility back, C. A. Hibbs (Marist), scored 230 points during the West Coast seaison which concluded on Sunday.

He scored 27 points for West Coast, 16 for Police | Rugby teams, and nine in the i Town-Country match on Sunday. His brother, R. Hibbs, I scored more than 100 points [for the Marist (Greymouth) [Senior reserve team. [ The only other West Coast I century was scored by A. J. [Tibbles (Ngahere). His total [of 126 included 101 for Ngahere, 16 for West Coast, and I nine for Country.
