A man was killed and another injured when the car in which they were travelling left the road at Te Raumoa, 22 miles from Te Awamutu, on the main Te AwamutuKawhia highway at 10.10 p.in. on Friday. i The dead man was: I Bernard John White, aged IS, a farm hand, of Te Kawa. A passenger in the car, Patrick Murphy, aged IS. farm hand, of Otorohanga, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital with concussion.
