All Black Retiring

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 22. The former All Black threequarters, J. R. Watt, has probably played his last game for Wellington. He has announced he would retire at the end of this season. Watt has played 155 firstclass matches, 41 of them in the All Black jersey. Wellington has two more matches this season but unless I. N. Uttley is unavailable, Watt will probably not play again. The All Black prop, B. T. Thomas, will also be unavailable for Wellington next season. He will return to Auckland in November. Most of this season’s successful Wellington squad have indicated they will be available again next season. The hooker, C. Currie, is the only doubtful one.
