Reduced Clip Of S.A. Wool
The South African Wool Commission has forecast a smaller wool clip for the current 1964-65 season. It is estimated at 298 million lb—eight million lb less than last season's production. An exceptionally cold and long winter, preceded by wide- 1 spread summer drought, is blamed for the fall. Stock losses have been heavy and in many areas grazing will only be available in the late spring. •
