NEW COLLEGE AT CAEN.—The name of Caen is closely associated with the invasion of France by the British and American liberation armies during the Second World War. The city suffered heavy damage and some of the oldest buildings were demolished. In their place some fine modern structures have been erected, and this college is one of the latest in a vast rebuilding plan.
