Bunny, Bogey And Birdie
(N.Z. Press Ai<oclation> DANNEVIRKE, Sept 14. A Dannevirke golfer, A. C. Turkington, scored a remarkable treble “B” in a championship match at Dannevirke on Saturday. Waiting on the ninth tee, for a foursome to move on, he noticed a rabbit, presumably disturbed by the other party, racing headlong towards him. Carefully selecting his seven iron, he sized the “shot” up and hit the rabbit Turkington scored a bogey on that hole and a birdie—the variety—on the tenth, which added up to a bunny, bogey, birdie In two holes.
