Sir John Ormond has been re-elected chairman of- the Meat Board. He has been chairman since 1951. The board re-elected Mr L. A. P. Sherriff as deputy-chairman.— (PA.) Mr J. Acland, of Mount Peel, South Canterbury, 'has been- re-elected chairman of the Wool Board. Mr B. S. Trolove, of Kaikoura, was elected deputy chairman.— (PA.) Mr Andrew Quarmby, of Rerewhakaaitu, Rotorua, has been appointed field officer of Volunteer Service Abroad. He will work among sponsors and supporters within New Zealand.—(P.A.) The Rev. A. G. Georgantis is to be instituted at St. Mark’s Church, Opawa, on Sunday, September 13, at 7 p.m. The service’ will be conducted by the Ven. H. M. Cocks and the Ven. R. P. F. Plaistow.
