THEFT OF SAFE

Three Youths Charged (N.Z. Press Association' NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept 9. Three Waitara youths appeared before Mr A. W. Yortt, S.M., today on charges connected with the breaking and entering of commercial premises. in Waitara, and the stealing of a safe. They were Joseph Michael Gwiazdzinski, aged 17, Kevin Garfield Henderson, aged 18, and Rex Diel Hagerty, aged 19. Each was remanded until September 17 on bail. Gwiazdzinski was charged with breaking and entering a shop in Waitara on August 31. The other two were charged with later assisting Gwiazdzinski by removing a safe stolen from the building to Pukerangiora Pa, and keeping watch while the safe was opened.
