(N Z Press Association) MASTERTON, September 8. Canterbury lost to Wellington, but Nelson defeated Wanganui In the national women's indoor basketball championships at Masterton today. Results were: A Grade.—Otago 46. Auckland 38; Wellington 53, Canterbury 46; Nelson 36, Wanganui 30. A Reserve.—Hutt Valley 45, Hawera 30: Felldlng 50, Tauranga 48; Southland 55, North Taranaki 36.
