Satisfied With Car Trade Bill

(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The Motor-Vehicle Dealers Amendment Bill was given a second reading in the House of Representatives this evening. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer) said the Opposition was satisfied with the Bill and would support it. The Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) said he believed the Bill would be good for both the dealers and the public. It raises the amount of the fidelity bond for dealers from £2OOO to £5OOO.
