Cancelled Ceremony

(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) COPENHAGEN, Sept. 6. The presentation of the Niels Bohr gold medal to the Soviet nuclear scientist, Professor Peter Kaptitza, next Friday, has been cancelled, the Danish Association of Engineers has announced. The Soviet Embassy advised the association that Professor Kaptitza could not come. No reason was given. Professor Kaptitza worked for some years at Cambridge University with the late Lord Rutherford, the New Zealander who first split the atom.
