COSTUMES SHOWN

Alliance Francaise Meets National costumes from Spain, Holland, Arabia, Java, Bali, Scotland, Switzerland, India and France were displayed at the August meeting of the Alliance Francaise. Each costume was worn and commented on by members and friends of the alliance. A demonstration of Spanish dancing was given by Miss J. Harkess and Mr A. Stuart, professionally known as Juanita and Antonio. A humorous sketch was given by Mrs J. Maslen and Miss A. Just, and the evening ended with an intergroup competition. The hostesses were Mesdames J. Maslen, C. Collins, K. Renwick, and Miss A. Just.
