Two British firms will supply China with a £4,500,000 polythene plant which will be built on the outskirts of Shanghai, China’s largest industrial city. It will be supplied by Simon-Carves, Ltd., and Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., under a contract with the China National Technical Import Corporation, signed in Peking on Wednesday.
