Watersiders Want Parking

The Lyttelton Watersiders* Union was hopeful that some parking facilities would be available for people who worked on the wharves in the new reclamation, said the secretary (Mr R. K. Fergus). He was commenting on the Lyttelton Harbour Board’s decision to ban waterfront parking from October 1. Mr Fergus said the union would probably discuss the problem.
