Dolphins Set Free
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 5. The Milford dolphin pool project was abandoned today with the release of the remaining four dolphins. This was decided last night by trainer Mrs J. Shannon, after the dolphin pool had been in operation for almost two weeks; “The dolphins do not appear to be happy in the pool,” said Mrs Shannon. “Over the last two days they have been less active and have been swimming by themselves. They are still not feeding properly.”
