Bed Clothes On Fire
Bed clothes caught alight from a heater in the home of Mr E. K. Jamieson at 51a Middleton road yesterday morning. Sockbum firemen attended. The fire caused only slight damage. No damage was caused when paper caught alight in a fiat at 290 Madras street, occupied by Mr R. Thomson. Three engines from the Headquarters station attended. The alarm was given shortly after 7 a.m.
