Simulated Fall From Dock

Lyttelton's St John Ambulance men varied their normal monthly practice with a simulated accident and rescue at the graving dock. The patient Mr W. Thomas, was assumed to have suffered serious injuries after a 35ft fall from a ship in the dock. He was attended on the bottom of the dock before being hoisted up the wall in a stretcher.
