Confident Of Robin Dundee

j (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Aug. 27. The Southland mare, Robin Dundee, is to be X-rayed within | a couple of days to determine I whether she will race again. Her Gore trainer, J. Walsh, said today that an earlier X-ray of a cracked pedal bone had proved disappointing, but he was hopeful that she had improved in the interval to allow her to return to work. Robin Dundee received her injury during a recent trip to Australia and has been spelling on her trainer’s property outside Gore. Her inability to settle to her rest has been mainly responsible- for the delay in the crack healing. “I’m confident she’ll return to work,’’ said Walsh.
