CURRENT NOTES

Travel Club.—Mrs N. Bean spoke on conditions in Northern Rhodesia in the last eight years at a morning meeting of the Canterbury Travel Club yesterday. Members were entertained with duets from Mesdames Eileen Williams and Kay Swallow. Visitors to the club included Mrs Yvonne Lawson, of Australia, Mrs E. Neilson, and Miss E. G. Islip.
