A provincial life membership of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was conferred on Mrs J. P. O’Neill at the bi-monthly meeting of the South Canterbury executive this week. Mrs O’Neill joined the organisation in 1939. She has served as committee member and vice-presi-dent of the Fairlie branch, was branch president from 1946 to 1954, and also served as a provincial vice-president
Collection.—The Lyttelton Plunket Society and the Lyttelton Plunket Mothers’ Club raised £77 10s in the port on Wednesday, from a street collection and stall.
