Sabah Case
(N Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MANILA, Aug. 26. The Philippines will prove to Malaysia that it has a legal case for its claim to Sabah, the Philippine Foreign Secretary (Mr Mauro Mendez) said in Manila yesterday. He was commenting on a statement by a Spokesman for the Malaysian Ministry of External Affairs that Malaysia would not discuss a procedure for settling the claim until the Philippines established its case.
Mr Mendez said that the Philippines was forming a team of legal experts to meet a Malaysian panel for exploratory talks on the claim.
