Search Near Takaka

Two police dogs and their handlers left Christchurch at 11.45 pan. yesterday for Nelson, to assist in a search for a 14-year-old boy missing in dense bush near Puramahoe, seven miles from Takaka. According to the Christchurch police, the boy went into the bush with a party yesterday afternoon but after a mile and a half changed his mind, sot off to raturn, and became lost. Police ih Nelson sought the aid of the dogs. Late last night Constable L. Peterson, with Buck, and Constable Alan Leslie, with Maro, left Christchurch by car for the area.
