C. R. Mountford In "World Thirteen"

'THE veteran Great Britain Rugby League loose forward V. P. P. Karalius, named one New Zealander in the “World 13" that be had selected in his book, “Lucky 13." The sole New Zealander is C. R. Mountford, who played much of his football with Wigan. Karalius has selected his team from players who hare opposed or played with him apart from one exception, Mountford. Referring to Mountford, Karalius says: “I made one exception—that great New Zealand-born stand-off half, Ces. Mountford, who played much of his football with mighty Wigan." Later, when discussing his selections, Karalius has written: “The halves pick themselves. To me Mountford
