DOLPHINS TO BE TRAINED AT AUCKLAND POOL.—Two young dolphins, caught in the Cape Colville area during the week-end, are now in the old Milford swimming pool, Takapuna. They are both about six months old and weigh approximately 200lb. These photographs show one of the dolphins being tempted with a sprat (which was rejected) and the other being brought to the pool on the deck of a launch. The Milford pool is to be developed as an aquarium, with performing dolphins as the main attraction. Press, Volume CIII, Issue 30528, 25 August 1964, Page 1
