Crane Touched Wire
fIVIZ. Pres* Association) HAMILTON, Aug. 24. A man was killed by an electric shock this morning at an asphalt plant in Great South road, Te Rapa. He was Pieter van den Berg, married, of Auckland. Mr van den Berg was employed by Bitumix Ltd., as a driver. The accident happened at about 10.30 a.m. when machinery which had been unloaded from a truck was being shifted into place. The hoist rope of the crane touched a high tension wire.
