. Sir,—lt appears to me that “Superannuitant on the Bord-er-Line” has a lot to be thankful for. A married couple on universal superannuation collect £36. every four weeks. In addition, the Government simerannuitant receives' anything from £3 to £lO a week. Your correspondent asks why Governments have turned a deaf ear to superannuitant association representations. Could this be because of the lack of interest Shown by most retired government servants, or maybe the lack of a sound case for additional superannuation?—Yours, etc., ALL-OF-A-TWIST. August 22, 1964.
