President To Be Re-elected
"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, August 11. Mr A. H. Fmnie will be reelected president ot the Forbury Park Trotting Club at the annual meeting of members on Tuesday, September 1. His was the only nomination received when nominations closed yesterday afternoon. Mr J. G. Barnes, the honorary treasurer of the club, and Mr G. J. Morrison, who is president of the Waikouaiti Trotting Club, have been nominated for the position of vice-president. Mr C. E. Larsen, the former vicepresident, retired on March 30 and is not seeking re-election.
With the Inter-dominion Championship series being staged at Forbury Park early next year, more interest than usual has been taken in the election of members of . the committee. Eleven nominations have been received for four positions. They are: Messrs S. F. Easton, L. M. Fahey. F. W. Piper, S. J. Walker, G. H. Barton, H. J. Crawford, J. W. Holley, E. E. Johnson, K. J. Marlow, S. J. Purdie. and R. W. J. Thompson.
