Sacred Word

(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY, August 4. A recent Sydney court case over the use of the word Anzac in an advertisement was not the first case of its kind. In 1935 Sir Charles bought a Lockheed Altair in America to compete in an Australian air race.

When the aircraft was uncrated in Sydney it was found that it had the lettering Anzac on the fuselage.

The customs took the name, off ■ before Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith and Sir Gordon Taylor were allowed to fly it.
