Women Want To Sail
Mr F. Petty, who is building ■ a raft at his home at Devoni port to sail around the world, is having no problem with shortage of crew members. An advertisement last week for two women crew members : has drawn 26 replies. The first two sections of the raft are almost complete and Mr Petty hopes to have it finished by September 26 so it can be displayed in the Auckland boat show.
