TUITION IN DRAMA
Texas Visitor Next Month (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 21. Most of New Zealand’s top theatre producers will attend a drama school in Wellington next month to be conducted by Dr. Paul Baker, managing director of the Dallas Theatre, Dallas, Texas. The school will comprise two nine-day master classes, the first starting on August 3 and the second later in the month.
Between classes, Dr. Baker will visit Dunedin for a lecture and Christchurch for a two-day school. He will also give a two-day school in Auckland. Dr. Baker's visit has been arranged by the United States State Department and will be managed by the New Zealand Drama Council, with assistance from the Queen Elizabeth Arts Council. Dr. Baker is a leader in production technique and drama tuition. During the Second World War he was chief of entertainment for the European theatre of operations for United States forces.

Horsley; secretary, Mr A. G. Anderson; treasurer, Mr R. C. Hills; sergeant-at-arms, Mr E. L. Bonisch.
