The University captain, T. Minehan, on Saturday missed her first senior match since 1956. It was also only the second match since 1954 that Minehan has not played in. The team’s centre-half, S. Comer, a fortnight before missed her first match since she started playing senior women’s hockey in 1955. ★ A keen player in the senior women's hockey competition is the West Old Girls’ goal-keeper, A.
