Clean Sweep To Aust.

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, July 19. Australia beat France, 35-9, in the Rugby League third test at Sydney yesterday, and so made a clean sweep of the series. Australia's faster and more skilful team always had the match comfortably in hand. The Frenchmen released their most spectacular football in the later stages of the match, but it was virtually over Inside the first 10 minutes, when Australia led, 8-0.

But France did score a try—its only one of the series.
