N.Z. Riders In The Sixties

The New Zealand riders, L. J. Byers and D. Graves, were 62nd and 63rd respectively in the sixth stage of the amateur Tour de I’Avenir cycle, race yesterday. Both riders completed the 82"-mile stage in 3hr 16min 4sec.

Byers is 68th and Graves 70th, in the over-all platings. J. Sagarduy (Spain) won the sixth stage, and G. Garcia (Spain) retained the over-all leadership.
