The salary will be within the range £1360 to £lB6O, and is at present under review. The University of Waikato is a new University established on January 1. 1964, on a site of about 126 acres on the outskirts of the City of Hamilton. The first building of some 20,000 sq. ft. has just been completed and further buildings are at present being planned. In 1965 the University of Waikato will accept its first teaching responsibilities by absorbing the Hamilton Branch of the University of Auckland and enrolling its own students. As the administrative estab Hshment at present comprises only the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar the new appointee will be closely involved in many aspects of the establishment of the administration of this University.
