THREAT TO GUITARIST
Allegation By Manager (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 5. The guitarist, Peter Posa, was threatened back-stage at the Wellington ' Opera House on Saturday evening, said Mr J. N. Haddleton, company manager of General. Artists Ltd.
Mr Haddleton said while a full house sat waiting for the young musician to appear, a man threatened to “beat Peter up,” and walk on stage during the performance. He said the threats to the shy artist almost made him break down. “I don’t know how Peter got on stage and gave the performance he did,” said Mr Haddleton. Posa leaves for the United States in 11 days’ time, where he has a six months’ contract
