WELLINGTON, June 29. j Commissions to sellers of the Golden Kiwi Mammoth lottery tickets were in line with overseas lotteries, a Department of Internal Affairs official said today. Replying to criticism by Wanganui sellers that the commission was well below the rate of the 5s lottery, he said the commission for the proposed £1 • lotteries was Is a ticket. New South Wales’ lotteries were 6d for 10s tickets, Is for £1 and 2s for £3. In Queensland, it was 5d for 10s tickets iui lOd for £l. The commission for the 5s I Golden Kiwi was 4jd a ticket.
