Rumania Sides With West (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) GENEVA, June 26. Rumania lent tacit support to the West at the * disarmament conference yesterday. Recently, Rumania has become independent of the Russian line in world affairs This is the first time since the disarmament conference began two years ago that a Communist nation has deviated from the Moscow policy. The Rumanian negotiator. Mr V. Dumitrescu, agreed with the Western arguments against the Russian proposal for a formal agreement on world-wide military budget cuts.
