TATUA IN WORK

"The Press” Special Service CAMBRIDGE, June 25.

The high class galloper Tatua, which has been spelling on the Te Awamutu property of his owner, Mr M. H. Tims, since winning the Founders' Plate at Te Rapa bn May 2, has returned to work with his trainer, W. J. Pratt, at Cambridge. He looks in excellent order for a further preparation. Tatua, which won at Tauranga and Ellerslie early in the season, later campaigned in Australia. He did not reach his best but was placed twice when he returned to New Zealand, and after a spell he won the Awapuni Gold Cup, the Ormond Gold Cup at Hastings, and the Founders’ Plate.
